Tim Harford is a British economist and journalist. He is the author of a few economics books, The Market for Aid, The Undercover Economist, The Logic of Life, and Adapt: Why Success Always Starts With Failure. He writes his long-running Financial Times column The Undercover Economist, that was syndicated by Slate magazine. He has won the Royal Statistical Society’s award, was given Mensa’s award, and the Bastiat Prize for his work in journalism.
