Jordan Ellenberg is an American writer, and mathematician. He has created a nonfiction book How Not to Be Wrong: The Power of Mathematical Thinking, a novel The Grasshopper King, and several essays on The Wrong Way to Treat Child Geniuses for the Wall Street Journal. He was a child prodigy, and his book was a finalist for the Young Lions Fiction award. He has contributed articles to The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and currently works as a professor of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin.
