Chris Hadfield is a retired Canadian astronaut who was the first Canadian to walk in space. His books include An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth: What Going to Space Taught Me About Ingenuity, Determination, and Being Prepared for Anything, and You Are Here: Around the World in 92 Minutes. He was an engineer, Royal Air Force fighter pilot, and flew two space shuttle missions as commander of the International Space Station. He was responsible for helping to run science experiments on the impact of low gravity, and gained popularity by playing his guitar in space, and taking photos of the earth to post on Social Media. He was a guest on television news and talk shows, and was awarded with several honours.
