Ben Horowitz is an American businessman, investor, and blogger. He wrote The Hard Thing about Hard Things: Building a Business When There Are No Easy Answers, and is a high technology entrepreneur and co-founded venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. He also co-founded, was president, and chief executive officer for enterprise software company Opsware, which Hewlett-Packard acquired for $1.6 billion in cash. He donates time to various non-profit organisations and pledged to give half his income from venture capital to charity.
